Real men tweet. (and a plug for Swoon) (and I bought a lensbaby)

I rarely have the time or energy lately to write long blog posts, but I tweet at least once day. If you follow me, not only will you get the latest updates to my life in photography, but I also often post links to all sorts of things because I happen to be a bit of a web geek. Speaking of, I recently was contacted by Giovanna Fabiano, journalist for the Bergen Record and creator of a great new wedding blog called Swoon Online, where you can find all sorts of interesting wedding related features, including many of my photographic competitors (yeah just skip all those posts) and lots of other off-beat weird stuff. I intend to submit some of my work to her soon for her to post, but I'm waiting until I have a more unusual, nontraditional event to show off. Lastly, I finally gave in and bought a Lensbaby. For the uninitiated, Lensbaby makes a series of unusual creative lenses with a 'sweet spot' of selective focus that you can move around by bending and twisting the lens like an accordion. It's a bit of a toy and a gimmick, but many professionals, especially in the wedding business, have taken a liking to the creative breath of fresh air something like this offers. I'm hoping it will expand my creative horizons a bit and lend a refreshing modern style to my work. After all, I have to impress Giovanna...
