The Glen Ridge Women's Club

Hello! I have no idea how you ended up here. You must've gone pretty deep into the Google results. Good for you! The Women's Club of Glen Ridge is a pretty decent spot for a wedding or party on a budget. Like the one in Ridgewood this venue's greatest asset is its brightly lit interiors. Unlike the Ridgewood club however, this one features a secondary room upstairs that can be rented out for even smaller (under 100 guests) affairs.

There's a small patio area outside to relax but it is lacking in shade, which can be a pain not only for your guests but for your photographer. Direct sunlight is about the least flattering outdoor lighting you can have, so it can get tricky to get nice shots outdoors. But it's not impossible as you'll see above.

Inside it's very vanilla. Large dance area in the middle, round tables around for the guests, and long tables along both side walls for your buffet. That's about it, but if you're just looking for a room to decorate and cater your own way, this is definitely not a bad choice.

The outside patio is small but has enough space for some nice small group shots in the shade

Have your ceremony indoors! Cocktail hour is just across the hall.

Not much in the way of decor. This place is a blank slate to decorate as you wish.

With around 150 guests things don't feel too cramped.

This secondary room is located upstairs and is a good spot for group shots if the weather outdoors isn't ideal

A photographer that knows what he's doing (ahem) can make a room look however he wants in his/her camera.
